The Edwards Team

Christine Gordon Manley
Editor

Christine Gordon Manly has a BA (Honours) in English from UPEI, an MA (Merit) in Women’s History from Royal Holloway, University of London, UK, and a solid background in research, editing, and writing. Christine currently works at the UPEI Centre for Education Research (CER). She is also the managing editor for the Canadian Journal of Applied Linguistics. Aside from being the Editor of Edwards, Christine also writes a regular column, “Little Acts of Green.”

When she is not busy with either Edwards or CER, Christine enjoys curling up by the fire with a good book, cheering on her favourite hockey team (Montreal), managing her own editing business, playing recreational basketball, and chasing her toddler around both inside and outside the house. Christine lives in Cornwall, PEI, with her husband, their almost 2-year-old daughter, and their slightly crazy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Michael SteeleworthyMichael Steeleworthy
Webmaster

Michael Steeleworthy is a librarian in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  That means he liberates data from the rude machinery that our culture has yoked it to.  On his proud days he considers himself to be an arrogant mix of a cultural critic and gentleman-scholar; on his humble days he just shrugs his shoulders, smiles at you, and walks on to go about his business.

Jody L. Weymouth
Photographer

Jody Weymouth has owned a camera for as long as she can remember. Her first love was landscape photography. She worked in a studio in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and fell in love with portrait photography.  Film has been replaced by digital but the camera is still a constant companion. Jody is a graduate of The University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies, and now lives in Petawawa. Her interests include foreign affairs and international relations. When not busy with her camera, Jody can be found curled up with a book, spending time with her husband and their dog, writing about her varied interests, and living each day to the fullest.
